Here are some pictures of the blown engine from Joshua Skinner's Road Race Dart
A good oiling system and pan baffles are really important,
especially when running Road Race or Autocross courses.
It looks like the "big end" of the con. rod got pretty hot,
the bearing and the rod metal is dis-colored black from heat.
